Alex Bartram

Psychotherapeutic Counsellor

I am a UKCP accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor with a private practice in central Norfolk.  I offer in-person counselling and online sessions within the UK.

As a compassionate and dedicated psychotherapeutic counsellor, I am committed to supporting individuals through life's challenges with empathy, understanding, and practical tools for personal growth. I work from an integrative approach, drawing on various therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of each individual.

I work with a range of issues including but not limited to
trauma, bereavement, depression, anxiety, attachment and relationship issues.

If you're ready to begin your journey towards healing and personal growth, I invite you to contact me for a consultation. Together, we can work toward creating a life of greater balance, self-acceptance, and well-being.

My work is grounded in the belief that every person has the potential for growth, healing, and change. Whether you're facing difficulties in relationships, struggling with anxiety or depression, or dealing with grief or trauma, I offer a confidential, safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings, develop greater self-awareness, and find clarity in your journey.

My approach is collaborative, meaning that we will work together to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust and respect. I use evidence-based methods to help you gain insights into the patterns that shape your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.

Throughout our work together, I aim to empower you with the tools to better manage life's challenges and build resilience. My goal is not only to help you navigate difficult emotions but also to support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself and your unique potential.

I have a BSc (Hons) in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling.

I am an accredited member of the UKCP which is the leading professional body for the education, training, accreditation and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. The UKCP register of individual therapists is accredited by the government’s Professional Standards Authority. I adhere to the UKCP Ethics and Professional Conduct Policies. I am also a registered member of the BACP and ACTO
