Alex Bartram
Psychotherapeutic Counsellor
I am a UKCP accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor with a private practice in central Norfolk. I offer in-person counselling and online sessions within the UK.
I offer a non-judgemental and confidential space to explore your experiences and help you to understand your problems, so you can work towards growth and change.
I work with a range of issues including but not limited to......
trauma, bereavement, depression, anxiety, attachment and relationship issues.
My integrative counselling training allows me to work with the support of different theoretical approaches which means that I practice in an attuned, responsive and creative way, recognising that every client is unique.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the key to change and growth. I will offer you empathy, openness, respect and when helpful compassionate challenge.
Together we can create a secure and effective therapeutic relationship in which you can safely and confidentially explore your life experience, feelings, thoughts, beliefs and behaviours.
I have a BSc (Hons) in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
I am an accredited member of the UKCP which is the leading professional body for the education, training, accreditation and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. The UKCP register of individual therapists is accredited by the government’s Professional Standards Authority. I adhere to the UKCP Ethics and Professional Conduct Policies.
